July 27 (Sunday) – Day of Leisure in Ulaanbaatar

Because Tara had so many problems with flight schedule changes while setting up the itinerary she recommended a day of leisure in Ulaanbaatar just in case there were flight changes.  Fortunately, no changes were made so we had a day of leisure.  Good thing…Mary had some GI issues, so she stayed in most of the day. 

On the meals, we had no problem with the meals, even Paul as a vegetarian - although there was usually only 1 or 2 entrees that were vegetarian in the cities.  Even in the Gobi desert and the national parks where there was no menu and everyone was served the same meal, Paul generally received the same meal, except vegetables instead of the meat.
