Very early morning pickup for the long drive to the airport…but at 5:30 in the morning there was minimal traffic, so it took us a fraction of the normal time to get to the airport…maybe 30 minutes. Unloading.
We had a short wait at the airport and then we were off to Seoul.
Minimal waits for customs and our luggage came out in a timely manner so we were out to the arrivals area in good time. Our transfer was at the airport waiting for us and the hour drive into Seoul. We are staying downtown at the same hotel where we stayed at three weeks ago. After checking in and dumping our bags we headed to the adjacent coffee shop for desserts. Cakes and bingsu. Yummy.
Our treats were mid-afternoon, so we all opted for no dinner. Paul and Jessica walked a couple of blocks from the hotel into an area that had a lot of carts in the middle of the street selling food and other things.
We worked a while in the evening on photos and packing.
